So this week Sacha and I decided we would go and help out on the local farm. It seemed like it would be fun, feeding pigs and helping out with the horses. But unfortunatly, the only thing we ended up doing the whole time was pick up the horses' poo. UGH. We were out there in the field and throughout the stables picking up poo for two hours straight. Also, we ended up having to do that for the next three days after that. Not fun.
Hello Everyone! A few days ago my life actually got mildly interesting, So I decided to start blogging. Right now, I'm blogging from Switzerland. Its a bit difficult actually, because I have to navigate a french keyboard. But nothing I can't handle! Today is my 6th day here, and I'll be returning on the 26th. Just in time for the Olympics! This is going to be the longest time I've been away from home, so I am glad to be spending it in a place as beautiful as Switzerland. I am staying here with our family friends the Yersin family. Their family consists of Sacha, (pronounced Sasha) a guy my age, and his two parents, Fabienne and Yves Alain. (pronounced Fobyen and Eve Alan) This week has been pretty awesome. I've been to Fribourg and back twice, I've eaten cheeses and been to places that I can't even pronounce, I've played laser tag in french, watched movies in french, listened to radio in french, and of course been doing my math packet. only 221 problems to go!
