So, today I felt the need to blog but I had no idea what to write about, so my mind began to wander. I wonder what it would be like to be really small. Like three inches tall. There would be a lot of small spaces that you could hang out in that nobody else would be able to get to. Another huge factor I just thought of is how relative speed is. So, for instance, a person moving at 4mph would probably seem about triple speed to a person of such small size. Also, 1 mile to a normal size person would be extremely elongated to a miniature person. So, it would be difficult to get anywhere really. This thought has really made me further appreciate my height. Well, that's my blog for this week. I feel like this idea could still be further expounded

The thing is, if you were 3 inches tall, you wouldn't need to go miles. everything would be on the same scale as you, so it would take the same amount of time to get somewhere.

The earth would still be the same size. I never said anything about a shrinking earth, therefore, my earlier statement about taking longer to go places is still valid

Well yeah, but the mini people would make mini stores and stuff so it would take just as long.

But the thingy about nobody else being able to get into the small spaces, well if everyone was small they would all be able to fit in small spaces

Luckily, I don't need to worry about any of that.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but mini people are impossible. The surface tension of the tiny amounts of water you would need in your mini veins would prevent your blood from flowing, along with a host of other things.

Well yes, but be imaginative. What if?

Yeah but there are animals and bugs that are smaller than that and have absolutely no problems.

Yes, but they have a cardiovascular system designed for a small body. If you were to scale their bodies up to human size, their veins and arteries would be much bigger than ours.

We could have pet ants. Then maybe we wouldn't hate them so much.

Yomnomnom we would probably eat bugs, just like normal sized people eat cows

Or we might get smushed just as often as ants do

Random fact: Ants can't die from falling.

I remember recently picking up an ant on a stick, and it just jumped off when I held it 3 feet in the air. I recall thinking, "That's a long way down for an ant." Thank you for this random fact, it has cleared up a lot of confusion

That is interesting to know. I wonder if it will ever be useful? Hmmm.

I hope none of my future teachers have that fear. Chuck would have to go into hiding.

Chuck grew like 3 times his normal size right? So its the opposite of this.

Well that's insensitive, why didn't Chuck think of all the people with Anatidaephobia before growing 3x his size, now he's gonna freak those people out 3x as much!

This is a very interesting thought, but with my height, i don't really need to worry. And by the way, I love your picture at the top! It reminds me of Doctor Who, which by the way, is one of my favorite shows!
