Here's a list of what I enjoy and what makes me happy:
Wow, my last 7 points all begin with "When I" my second grade teacher told me that was bad. Whatever, this is a blog, I can write how I like. I hope you enjoyed this list and found it interesting!
- Science
- Long discussions on science without arguing
- Space
- Similarities between big and small. Ex: Atoms and Solar Systems
- Reading a book, making a prediction on how events will go, and then be completely suprised by what actually happens. (I hate it when my predictions actually happen though)
- Having my view of a topic be completely renewed. In lamens terms: when my mind = blown. Stephen Hawking has been especially good at doing this with his book "The Grand Design" that Conor loaned me.
- Brainstorming ideas with others and coming up with something really great that we all want to expand upon
- Watching TV shows that keep my brain active. (Doctor Who)
- Watching TV shows that let my brain go on vacation. (Adventure Time)
- High quality chocolate
- Vacations to places completely different than my own
- Learning a new word and then using it often. I just rece Perspicacious ntly learned a word that I'd like to think describes me and my comrades well:. Per-spih-cay-shus. Look it up, I'm going to be saying it often.
- Discovering new aspects of technology that instantly make life easier. If you're on an Apple computer right now, and you right click my word above, there will be an option to "Look Up in Dictionary." Use that.
- Teaching others things that I really enjoy doing or talking about.
- When I say something, and I know that I couldn't have worded it better.
- When I set goals for myself and accomplish them.
- This kind of relates to an earlier point, but it really makes me happy when I've finshed something and I'm proud of it.
- Learning something, and remembering it years later, no matter how useless others think it is.
- Remembering to blog. I find it such a fun thing to do as I do it, but when I think of doing it later I imagine it as such a painful chore.
- Getting immersed in a world where I am free to explore and create, whether it's real or just a game.
- Meeting someone who is so much better than me at something, and learning from them
- When I'm not afraid to stand up to challenges or simply be the first of many to try something.
- When I suddenly remember something that aids me in the moment I'm in.
- When I'm inspired to do something new.
- When I'm surrounded by others with similar goals and interests.
- When I learn how something works, and I realize how much sense it makes.
- When I get a chance to go back and fix something, or think about what I'm going to say for a really long time before I say it.
- When I can stop an arguement, or find a good compromise, before it gets out of hand.
