Although, if we were the only solar system, what would happen when the sun got too old and exploded?
What if there were no other solar systems? There wouldn't be as many scientific discoveries because all that would be there is the sun, the moon and a few planets. There would be less scientific discoveries because many people that discovered things about space also discovered things about physics, etc. On the other hand, if we were the only solar system, we would know a LOT more about the planets and things in our own solar system. This is because researchers would have more time to study this solar system because that's all they have to research. We would also clear up a lot of things such as aliens a lot quicker because there are less places for them to be.

Aliens aren't real. I think we have already cleared that up. And as to your last question, we would all die. (I love being an optimist)

Ok, Aliens have a huge possibility of being real, you can't deny that.

Single celled organisms are extremely possible. They just need a planet that is far enough and close enough to their respective sun.

Wow Wow wow wow, ned ned ned. Aliens are one of the few things we are almost sure are out there, Albeit they might not be short little green men, they could still be a plant and considered alien.

Aliens might be real Ned, It just depends on what type you are looking for. We might find some that are just bacteria, but those are still aliens, right? Oh, and by the way, I'm the only optimist/ motivational speaker.

I like your thinking: aliens could be bacteria... Sound like this could make for a good story!

Come on. In all the space out there, there's gotta be some other form of life, even if it is just bacteria. We can't be the ONLY ones. I mean, space goes on forever. FOREVER! Or maybe it doesn't. When you really think about it, we don't know anything about what is/could be out there...

It doesn't go on for forever but it is expanding at a rate we currently can't match so it may as well be.

If it doesn't go on forever, then what's outside of it? There has to be something. Like more space, or a different space, or something.

Also, If our solar system is all that exists, what would happen if you sent a probe out side to the end of our solar system? Would it blow up? Cease existance? Get Sucked (Sorry fellow scientists I ment pushed) into a black hole?

Someone should ask Miller what a black hole does

They terrify me but they sound fun, I would enjoy having my own black hole and throwing my trash into it (except for the fact that if there was a black hole that close to earth we would all die...)

Even if a black hole didn't suck everything into it, it would create enough radiation to kill everyone within 1000 miles. Leave a Reply. |
