I know it's kinda late but I thought this blog entry was 100% necessary. We got on the United plane and I sat down. About 20 minutes later we were taking off. Up in the air, 5000...10000....15000 feet. As soon as the pilot hits 20000 feet he turns on the intercom and says,"Excuse me we have a medical emergency!" I completely freaked out and didnt know what to do. The turbulance as well as the horrible announcement were the perfect combination to scare me very good. I literally stopped, pulled my seatbelt as tight as it would go and then proceeded to play Doodle Jump on my phone. 30 more minutes. So close. Wait, it's 12:07!!! The world didnt end hahaha! So happy. But will the plane land safely? The intercom came on again and it said,"keep your seatbelts fastened and remain calm." The plane was shaking. I was horrified at this point. I looked out the window and saw lights. They were the lights for the runways! YESSS made it!! We landed perfectly and quickly made our way to the gate where I got off the plane as soon as possible. Overall, it was a freaky flight and I don't want to have to experience that again.
