Well as some of you might know, I've been diagnosed with chicken pox. I'm still really confused as to how I got this, because someone I came in contact with in the past two weeks either has it or is a carrier, so that's kinda weird. Also Barbara Walters has it too, go figure. But anyways, I noticed the spots appearing on Saturday and went to the doctor on Monday and its chicken pox. Since I got the two vaccinations, it's not as severe as it normally would be but I have little red spots all over my body. I don't have a fever and I'm feeling okay. I won't be back in school until Monday, but I just wanted to update you guys.
I'm way too obsessed with concerts. I spend too much money on them, I get too excited about them and I have way too much fun at them. I have seen like four concerts in the past four months. I saw Zac Brown Band, the Wailers, Carrie Underwood and Hunter Hayes and one more, can't remember which one. Lately my mom has been funding this habit but I'm scared she's going to cut me off. She bought me Lollapalooza and Country Thunder tickets, but I may have to buy my own Warped tour tickets. :/ They're just really expensive and I want to see famous people sing! Wouldn't it be nice if everyone put on free concerts? I really would like that. However, there's one concert I've been trying to find tickets to for literally years and I would do anything for them. FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE. Oh my goodness I want tickets for them so bad literally if someone got them for me I would literally marry them because they are my favorite band ever. I also want to go to a Fun. concert. :)
I am currently reading one of the best books I have ever read. It's called A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. James Frey is a twenty three year old who has been drinking alcohol since he was 10 and doing hard drugs since he was fourteen. James wakes up on a plane missing four teeth with a hole in his cheek and not knowing where he came from or where he's going. His parents take him to the best rehab center in the world with a success rate of 17% of people staying sober/clean a year after they leave. James resists the program at first, because drugs are his only way to feel better from the problems he faces. James experiences some tough times and falls in love in the rehab center. If you've ever felt bad about yourself and wished for a different life you'll relate to James's story and find yourself rooting for him. There is rumors that this story is all made up, and these rumors started after he was admitted into Oprah's book club. But if you really want to read a good book, you don't mind profanity and a darker storyline, read it.
