There are two movies I love more than any other movie in the whole entire world. The Breakfast Club, and The Marinovich Project. I would have to say the Marinovich Project is my favorite for so many reasons. I first saw it about six months ago, which was a very influential time in my life. Basically if I was introduced to something I loved it because I was trying to broaden my horizons, but after that crazy stage this movie is still my favorite. It's about a man named Todd Marinovich who was possibly one of the most talented football players to ever life. His father basically used him as an experiment, seeing how far someone could go if they were given the perfect environment. The perfect workouts, the perfect diet and being on the best teams. Well Todd went far. He was given a full scholarship for USC and eventually made it onto the NFL team, the Raiders. In sophomore year of high school, Todd started experimenting with drugs such as marijuana and in college, started doing things like cocaine. He struggled with the freedom of being on his own, after being so sheltered by his dad all of his life. Todd also struggled with the idea of what is right and wrong, and just because you're good at something does it mean you're meant to do it in life. It's a true story and it changed a lot of the ways I thought about sports. It's sad, but very very good. The Breakfast Club, I don't even think I have to talk about it because anyone has seen it knows why I love it. It's just a classic that I will forever love.
