Over the weekend I helped out for the V-show at Roosvelt. The Roosevelt V-show is the best, its kindergarten through fourths grade students singing versions of songs that most people know in really cute costumes and then the fifth graders put on short skits in between the songs. I loved V-shiw so much when I was at Roosevelt and I realize how much I miss it now. Anyway each group has the oppurtunity to get their makeup done and hair sprayed before they go on stage, this is where I was. I can't do makeup for the life of me so I stuck to hair spray. Its really simple because all you have to do is ask them what colors they want out of the six or seven different ones and then ask them how they want it sprayed. Normally its just whole head one color, half one color half another, stripes or polka dots but thus year we could do more because we had these awesome hair stencils. Now we could do hearts, stars, zig zags and words. Also this one girl came up with the idea to do this rainbow thing that looked really cool. This was all so much fun because I was there with my friends, I was back at my old school and even though I had to deal with some obnoxious kids most of them were adorable. Overall I had a lot of fun and I hope I can go back and help at next year's V-show!

Alyssa wrote about how much fun this was too! I bet the "little" kids loved having the "big" kids there to help!

Hey I helped there too! It was fun, and the first time I'd been back to Roosevelt in a long time... Sometimes I wish I had a younger sibling so I could visit all my old teachers without seeming creepy lol
