Last Tuesday we all had no school for election day. Whether you slept in, played minecraft all day or hung out with your friends you probably had a relaxing day. I on the other hand did not. I stated my morning a little before six to take a shower and get ready to shadow my friend at her high school. Now don't freak out I am going to the high school that most of you are going to, my friend just wanted to show me her school. It was such a fun day. It seems like it might be boring sitting through classes but I found it pretty interesting, I tried really hard to understand what the teachers were talking about. This was very difficult because first of all my friend is a junior and second of all some of the teachers were making it very hard to pay attention. The math teacher had like a lisp and wrote his fives like backwards sevens. The Spanish teacher held on the s at the end of words really long. The English teacher was good but not as good as you Mrs DLP, they were reading Hamlet and I thought it was supposed to be like the Lion King but I didn't really think so. By the end of the day I had learned barely anything, met all of my friend's friends and read a lot of my book. (Thank you Maura and Emily for having me read the Uglies, I would have been so bored without it.) I have already written so much but I have more to say so if you want to hear my encounter with the dean (the principal) or how I ended up in a gym locker leave a comment and that will be my next blog.
