Yesterday, I went to a pumpkin patch, with my friend Steffan and his family. It was very.. interesting! We spent the day going through a "haunted house" eating fall food, and watching pigs... race. My family doesn't ever go pumpkin picking, so I was curious as to what we might do. We drove through small towns and cornfields, until we got to the pumpkin picking farm. The first thing we did when we got there, was walk around the place. I saw a whole bunch of country/ fall things, like a tractor, pigs, and even a zebra! (not that zebras are usually found in AMERICAN countryside.) Steffan and I also saw a corn maze, so we decided to walk through it. Once we got lost, we decided to just stay to the left wall the whole time, and sure enough, that led us out of the maze.:) Later, we decided to go through a haunted house, which ended up being more funny, rather than scary. The "scary" people were actually not real people, and.. it was just hilarious. It was fun. At the end of the day, we decided to watch pig races, and then took a picture in a giant rocking chair. Oh my gosh, that rocking chair was so big! It was super fun to rock in too.:) Overall it was a fun day, and we left happy, with two tiny, very cute, matching pumpkins. I'm excited; now I know what pumpkin farms are like! :)

I love going to the pumpkin farm. My husband and I have gone to a pumpkin farm/petting zoo every year on Columbus day for the last 16 years. We didn't go this year because Frankie had school, so we will go next Sunday. I am so glad you got the chance to experience this!

That place sounds familiar with the big rocking chair and pig racing; I think I've been there before

You and Steffan are the most adorable couple I know. Tumblr couple? Yes.
