Today was quite an eventful day. My brother's boy scout troop sold enough popcorn to go to Key Lime Cove! Luckily for me, my mom said I could go and bring a friend! So at about 10:30, we picked up my friend, made a quick stop at Roosevelt to check in, then off we went to Key Lime Cove! When we got there, my brother and his troop had a mini pizza party, but we didn't have to stay. We went directly to the water park. We went on every slide, both big and small. It was a little crowed, but it wasn't too bad. Lines weren't all that long. We spent a lot of time in the lazy river, and I mean a lot. We went around about 10 times, maybe even more. Then we went back on the slides. There were tube slides and body slides. On the body slides, I went so slow, I almost came to a complete stop. My friend didn't though, so I guess I must be sticky or something. When we got lunch, I wasn't expecting an healthy food, so of course I got chicken tenders, fries, and a lemonade. They were really good, but I could almost taste the unhealthy. We eventually became very tired, so we dried off and changed our clothes. We then headed to the arcade. We each got a game card and played a whole bunch of games. I got a total of 277 tickets. I was able to buy (with the tickets) a candy bracelet and a bacon bracelet with a mustache. Of course, I then had to get dessert, so I got a hot fudge sundae with caramel caribou ice cream. It was absolutely delicious. It came time to make our way back home, so we packed up our things and we left. I had an awesome day, but I'm glad to be back home. The best part about this trip was that I think I have a new boyfriend. Call me a cougar, but he's only four years old. (:
Lately I've been stuck to the theory that as long as you love what you are doing, no time is ever wasted. But... What is time? Nobody can say exactly what time is or how it works. I guess it's just events passing by one by one. Now, think about this. We have a past, a present, and a future. However, because we live in the present, you can never physically be in the past or the future. The present time is infinite. Except for one exception. Our minds take just a split second to process what is happening around us. Now, doesn't that mean that we live in the past, and there is no present? I'll let you ponder on that thought while I change topics. Time isn't measured by the hour or the minute. It's measured by the movement of objects in space. Morning, Afternoon, and Night are measured by where the Earth is relative to the Sun, or the Moon relative to the Earth. Also, where the Earth is depending on it's rotation. Before the Big Bang, there was no time (or space, but that's a different matter). Time was created when celestial objects started to rotate and move, and they showed time passing. Prior to the Big Bang, there was no need for time to pass, because there was absolutely nothing in the Universe, except Dark Matter. Thus the Big Bang created time when there was finally a need for it. Now back to my first statement about wasting time. When I really think about this, there is no such thing as "wasting time." When you are sitting around doing absolutely nothing, you are not wasting time. You are wasting YOUR time. Time itself cannot be wasted because we cannot control it. Time just happens as events pass. Our time as human beings is limited, but the time of the Universe is infinite. Unless the entire Universe collapses on itself, but let's not get into that right now.
Luckily for me, all weekend I've been sick. Starting on Thursday, I haven't felt very good. My nose has been all stuffed up, I've been coughing, and my throat hurts. I started to feel like this Thursday, but I didn't think much of it. Then on Friday, my throat hurt really bad and my nose was stuffed. Saturday morning, I woke up and I felt pretty sick. My throat was on fire and I was constantly coughing. Plus I had dance for a few hours in the morning. So yesterday my mom decided to give my DayQuil. Fortunately, it helped a little and I didn't feel as sick. I still didn't want to go anywhere. I got some type of Chinese soup for dinner and it helped so much. It also tasted really good. Then my mom gave me NyQuil and I then realized that soon I would be totally knocked out. I laid on the floor with the puppy, along with my mom, my sister, and our other dog, Calypso. Soon, I became super loopy. I was on the floor "singing my own deranged version on Hush Little Baby," according to my sister. Of course, she took a video of me and said she will play it at my wedding when I am older. Not long after, I went upstairs and took the puppy with me. I was out cold in just a few minutes. When I woke up, I was tired and felt a little like a zombie. My mom let me go back to bed and I took a cat with me. He slept with me for another two hours until it was time for me to get up and start the day. I stayed at home most of the day playing with Argo and doing my homework. Then, my whole family went to go get ice cream at Dairy Queen. I came home and played with my puppy some more. Now you know about my super interesting, not to mention sick, weekend.
As many of you know, I just got a new puppy! We weren't suppose to get one, but, as I am told, my sister was crying because she had fallen in love with this dog. He is only 10 weeks old. He is all black and I believe he is a Lab. He might be a mix, but were not sure because we got him at a rescue center. I love playing with him, especially because he has so much energy. He likes to bite my feet, and at first it really tickled. Now it's started to be painful, so I usually pull him away. He still doesn't have a name, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know in the comments! Now, here is the moment you have all been waiting for... Pictures!!!!! This is what he is doing as I am writing this blog. I'm trying my hardest not to wake him up. If you're wondering why he is in my shirt, I shall tell you. My mom took him outside to.... You know...... Do his business, and he was so cold he started shaking and shivering. Thats's when I put him in my shirt. He fell asleep there and hasn't left since. This past Wednesday was V-show tryouts. Being the dancer I am, I was super excited to tryout. I'm doing a dance solo and I'm also doing a dance with my friend Jasmine. My solo is to the song Radioactive by the Imagine Dragons. I love it because it's so powerful, intense and emotional. I choreographed the entire dance by myself, which sounds much easier than it was. I have a costume picked out and I'm very excited! I'm also quite nervous for the show. Almost the whole school will be there and I don't want to mess up or forget my dance, which happened at tryouts. Luckily for me nobody noticed because I started improvising. For the dance that I'm doing with Jasmine, we created a mix of a bunch of different songs. Most of which are by Skrillex. I just want to say that choreographing to Skrillex was one of the hardest things that I have ever done. The music is all distorted and weird, but somehow we manged to choreograph the dance. We have picked out most of our outfit, but we still don't know what shirt we will wear. I'm nervous and excited, but I know that when I perform, my adrenaline will be pumping so hard that I won't have time to think. I will just dance and hope.
