This weekend was a very fun and interesting weekend. I got to go to Pittsburgh to visit my stepsister who goes to college there. At first I didn't want to go, but now I know that I would regret not going. The first fun part was actually the 7 hour car ride. I slept and watched The Hunger Games and Grown Ups. Great movies. When we got there, we went to Julia's (my stepsister) apartment. It was really cool and I really wanted to live there. After that we went out to dinner. I had a salad. WITH STAKE AND FRENCH FRIES IN IT!!! It was amazing. After that, we went back to the hotel and slept because we had a big day ahead of us. The next day, we woke up, had a nice breakfast buffet, and left the hotel to take the trail to Heinz Stadium where we would watch the Pittsburgh vs. Louisville football game from the student section! It was really cool because the student section is right behind the field goal! I really enjoyed meeting all of Julia's friends, too. They were all very funny. I don't really understand football, but I get it a little more after watching it. In the end, Pitt lost, but it was a great game. After the game, we went shopping for some new Pitt stuff. I got some awesome sweatpants and a T-shirt. I can't wait to wear them! Then, at about 4 we had lunch... it was a little late for lunch, but I don't really care about that because it was still food. After lunch, we almost went swimming in the hotel but then didn't feel like it, so then my other stepsister Rachel did my hair and then at 9:30 we went out to dinner to a fabulous seafood restaurant. Then I went to bed because I was so gosh darn tired. We woke up on our last day and gt some bagels for breakfast. After that, we went to an amazing place called Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. It was an amateur photographer's dream! That would be me... You will see some of the pictures I took at the bottom of this blog. I took about 100, but those are my favorite. We left finally and went to a place called Peace, Love, and Little Doughnuts. They make little doughnuts that taste like gourmet cake. And that was it. After we eight our little doughnuts, we started on our wonderful 7 hour car ride home. I wish Julia lived closer so we could see her all the time!
