So a few years ago, my dad was watching T.V. and he came across this show called Burn Notice. He decided to put it on, and he liked it so much that he told us about it the next day.The next week, we decided to watch a new episode all together. At this point, it was in season 4, so we had a lot of questions, but we loved the show. Since then, every Thursday at night, we watch the same show. The show revolves around a man named Michael Westen. Michael used to be a spy who worked for the CIA until he got burned, which is the equivalent of being fired, except it is for spies. Another difference is that his life has totally changed. All of his bank accounts have been closed, and he has no prior job listings or references. Essentially, he has turned into a ghost. From then on, the whole story is about how Michael tries to find out about who burned him and why they did it. Also, each week, Michael has a different "client" who has a serious problem, and he has to help them. He also has to encounter his mother, who he has not spoken to in a very long time. He also connects with his brother (his father has died), and the person who first helps him when he gets to Miami is a woman named Fiona Glenanne. She is Michael's former girlfriend. She loves working with guns and explosives, which gets the pair into a lot of problems. Along the way, Michael keeps uncovering new mysteries of why he was burned and it seems that each time he is close to finding out who burns him, it turns out that there is another person/group who had a part in having him burned. I think that this is a very good and compelling show, and that if you like action and drama, then this could be a show for you.
