Saint Ignatius. This is the high school that I am trying to get into. Yesterday, I had to take the entrance exam, which is the first step in a long process of trying to get admitted into Saint Ignatius. The test was four hours and had 298 questions. It was separated into five sections, each between about fourty-five and sixty questions. The test was at 8 A.M. at Saint Ignatius, so I had to get up before six o'clock, which is not the best way to prepare for a gigantic test. It seemed like over 1,000 kids took the test yesterday, which was much more than I thought there would be. Over the next month, I will have to send in many forms and documents, all of which will be examined by the admissions group at Saint Ignatius, and I will find out if I get in by about February 15th. If I don't get in, I will go to Maine South with everybody else, but if I do get in, then I will have to Saint Ignatius every day by about 7:45, which means I would get up before six to get to the train, which I would take to the end of the line in Chicago. Then, I would probably ride a shuttle that takes kids to and from Saint Ignatius every day. It is nice to know that I will know the results in a month, but it is also frustrating that I will have to spend a month wondering and worrying about all of the things that could go wrong to make me go to Maine South. For now, it's waiting time.

Good luck Ned! I know firsthand the anxiety of not being certain of your future and where you're going to go to highschool but I know you'll end up wherever is right for you. I'll miss you Ned!!!!!
