Today, I was trying to find something to write about when I realized that I did not do even one summer blog, and because of that, I should write about my whole summer, which is exactly what I am doing.
This summer, my family and I went on a lot of trips. We went to Wisconsin Dells in June, we went on a long ten day road trip all across the midwest. We stopped in Austin, Minnesota, which is where the Spam Museum is. Spam is actually very good considering its name. We also stopped in Mitchell, South Dakota, where we saw a real rodeo. We also went to Custer State Park and Badlands National Park. While we were in the Badlands, we saw lots of prairie dogs and buffalo. (The picture in the top right is of a prairie dog and the one at the bottom is a buffalo.) At Custer State Park, we stayed at the Sylvan Lake Lodge. As you can probably ntell, there is a Sylvan Lake, and we were able to swim in it a lot. In the lake, there were a lot of gigantic rocks jutting out of the lake, and we were able to jump off of them. Our final two stops were in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and La Crosse, Wisconsin. In La Crosse, we were able to see a college summer league baseball game. Our final trip was to Glen Lake, Michigan. We stayed at Glen Lake for the last full week of summer vacation. While we were there, I saw my grandparents from Ann Arbor and my uncle from California.
