I love summer. I love being able to go outside and do whatever I want for however long I want to. It's so nice being free from school and having to learn for seven hours a day. On the other hand, I absolutely hate winter. I like winter for the first few weeks up until the end of winter break, and then the next three months, I think, are awful. It's cold, dreary, dark, and I have to stay cooped up in the house a lot. Now that we are nearing the end of the second trimester and the end of February, there is only a little bit of time until we can officially end winter and enter spring. Once we get into spring, baseball starts, basketball and hockey start to get into the home stretch and are nearing the playoffs, and we start having days that are much longer than they were during winter. The weather is warmer, and we don't have to worry about putting on enough layers to stay warm when we are outside, and soon after that, the pool opens, which pretty much marks the end of the school year, but for right now, all I can do is wait and hope that warm weather will so

I agree completely. Except that In the winter I want spring, in the spring I want summer, in the summer I want fall, and it turns into a vicious cycle.

There's something so wonderful about spring. So careless. How you can just put on some simple clothes and go to the park or something and how serene it is.
