After long hours of staring at my suitcase, pulling open drawers, and throwing things out on my bed, this is what I decided to bring:
The four outfits that I mentioned in the last post
Three more shirts (just incase...)
The three pairs of pants I mentioned in the last post
Another pair of sweatpants
Toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, a bajillion bobby pins, hair bands
A belt
Some more clothes
The two sweatshirts I mentioned in the last post
Another sweatshirt
My math and spanish packets (including my calculator, graph paper, lined paper, etc.)
Two books
My DS
My computer (to watch Dusty, of course)
Headphones
Two purses
A deck of cards
My camera
My phone
... and I'm sure I'm forgetting some other things. So now, I will tell you what, on that list, that I didn't use:
Well, It turns out I didn't need the extra shirt or pants, and I only read one of the books. I didn't really need that many bobby pins, and I didn't need three sweatshirts. I didn't work on my spanish packet, and I didn't need headphones. I didn't use the deck of cards, and I only used one of the purses.
It turns out that I could've fit all of the stuff that I actually did use in my suitcase with a little extra room, instead of stuffing the suitcase and taking another bag. And of course, we went to the mall, so my suitcase and bag were bulging with even more than I came with by the time we came home. Oh well. Maybe I won't pack as much next year.
... yes I will.
