All these pictures are taken by me. That waffle is one of the best things I have ever tasted and the views are all above 8000 feet. I will probably put more really cool pictures on in the next two days so look again!
Today is my brothers 18th birthday. I cant believe it only because it seems like he has grown up soooo fast. Last night, when he got home, we gave him a gift that he has been wanting. It was a speaker that you can play your phone wirelessly on; you dont have to plug it in. He loved it because as soon as he tore off the wrapping paper, he ripped the box in pieces to get it out. He tried it immediately and it was awesome. But he left today on a trip with his classmates and wont be home for the rest of the weekend. So next week, we are going out for dinner wherever he wants. Soon enough, Ill be 18 and it will be pretty cool.
Yesterday I went to the Blackhawks game and it was really fun. We got to our seats a whole hour and a half early to see warmups and all the pregame reports. Through the first period there was no goals. Then, in the beginning of the second period, Andrew Shaw scored. The hawks were up 1-0 and we wanted to see some more goals. As the second period ended it was still 1-0. Alright third period. The last period went by very quickly with very few shots on goal. There was a couple of close ones but no scores. The Blackhawks won 1-0. It was awesome. If you have never been to a Blackhawks game I highly reccomend it. They're so fun to watch and the crowd gets really into it!
Literally one of my least favorite things in life is to have a cold or be sick. Probably the same for everyone else. I mean u can still go out and have fun but you need a lot more sleep, which is hard to get as an 8th grader, and you need to blow your nose or take Advil constantly. It's just so aggravating. Right now I have a cold and I have a runny nose and a sore throat. Then the headaches start to kick in and my body just starts to ache. I don't think anyone understands how much I hate having a cold.
Tonight was the season 4 premiere of the Walking Dead and it was awesome! I have watched all the episodes from the first, second, and third seasons. Now that the 4th one is under way I'm so excited. They picked up right where they left off and I didn't really remember too well what happened last season. Well I know what I'm doing this week. I have to watch all season 3 over again so I have a clue to what's going on. It's such a good show and I highly reccomend it if u have some free time to watch TV. GREAT SHOW!!!
For the past week and a half my lower back has been just killing me. I sat out of 4 basketball games and a baseball practice because of the pain and inability to move around effectively. I have taken multiple advil to make it feel better. Nothing has worked except getting a massage on it. And that only helped it for about an hour or two. I am leaving for Utah on Wednesday to go skiing. I hope I am in good enough condition to at least do that!
Weekdays: basketball three times a week and two games per week. Usually Tuesday and Thursdays. Baseball Wednesday nights indoors of course and that is going to be every week.
Weekends: 1-3 basketball games and another baseball practice in the morning. It is just too much to handle with all the school work and sports and practice. I can't get a hold of myself and take a chill pill. I need to be on the beach listening to my favorite country music. That's where everyone wants to be right now. I need to take a break from sports. But my parents keep telling me I've made a commitment to my team so I have to go. I don't like the situation I'm in and I need to get away from it. Ahh!!! In the past two weeks, the amount of movies I have watched is sickening. Literally I watch a movie every day or every other day. Plus with all my homework and sports there's not that much time for watching TV or movies. But I make time. I honestly couldn't name all the movies I've watched so that's why I'm not going to. I didn't know what to blog about this week so I just thought about all the time I have spent watching movies. Perfect topic for a typical Sunday night blogging session. Hahahahahahahahaha I crack myself up... Whatever.
These three pictures are only about 1/8 of the entire trips pictures. The first one is the sunset on the beach. It was the end of our second day here and it was the best one so far. The second one is just a palm tree in the sun. Signature Florida. And the third one is the opening view when you go up to the building our condo is in. This place is really nice and I will probably put two or three more pictures of other things throughout the rest of the trip. Hope you are jealous. Hahaha.
Even though the picture is kinda bad, the sunset tonight in Florida was picture perfect. We never get to see the sunset in Park Ridge and it makes me mad because if you come here, you see a beautiful sunset every day. And it gets dark here at about 6:30 pm instead of about 4:30. It's sooo much better. I kinda wish I could stay here... like... forever. But I live in Park Ridge,IL. Where it gets dark before 5:00 and is very depressing. Just wanted to let you guys know that's what I think of home. I will be posting more pictures of Florida almost every day so keep on checking my blog if you want a small taste of the great weather!!
