A couple days ago, on Tuesday, I went to the Chicago White Sox game against the Detroit Tigers. I drove down to the city with my mom, my brother, and my brother's friend. We got there at around 7:15 because of the traffic and were five minutes late. The game had started at 7:10. We finally got into the stadium and went to our seats.
We got to our season ticket seats in the 13th row above the Sox dugout. I looked at my ticket and realized I was seat number four so I went in first. I sat down just as Prince Fielder, a huge hitter on the Tigers, was striking out.
The top of the inning had ended and the Sox were coming up to bat. It was going to be the third hitter to start off the inning. The first pitch of the top of the inning was hit deep into the night sky by Dewayne Wise. Everyone stood up and started cheering keeping their eyes on the ball. The baseball then dropped into the right field stands for a homerun.
Two hitters later, no one was on base and Gordan Beckham came up to the plate. The count was 2-0 and the pitch came. Another ball was hit high and deep into the sky. Again, everyone stood up and cheered for the ball to keep going. About three seconds later, the ball dropped into the Sox bullpen for another homer. I was screaming for the Sox and showing my Chicago spirit. Haha.
The rest of the game flew by and at the end, the Sox were down and not in good shape. We stayed until the end of the game and then rushed out of there to beat the large crowd of people. The game was a lot of fun, even though they lost. And that
