For anyone who hasn't seen it, it's about a revolutionaries in Iran capturing the US embassy and 6 Americans escaping to the Canadian embassy. A group of CIA agents create a fake Hollywood movie to rescue them. They send in agent Tony Mendez to get the Americans out as his crew working on the movie with him. They are almost caught, but they get out. It's pretty tense at some times, but it's also really funny. If you haven't seen it, you should. It's great.
Recently, I watched the movie Argo. I liked it (And so did a lot of other people).

For spring break, I'm going to San Fransisco. I don't know what we're doing really (I got Courtney to give me a list of the things we're doing), so I'll explain with my very very undetailed (That's not a word) knowledge.
We're going to see Alcatraz, of course. Golden gate bridge, which is being dwarfed by the San Fransisco bay bridge that has lights on it. One of the piers, called pier 39, is their version of Navy Pier. Copiers. It also apparently has wild sea lions. We're staying in a hotel called the Argonaut, which is near Ghiradelli square. I know literally nothing about the square, but I hope there's chocolate there. We're gonna see Muir woods too see California redwoods. We're also going to go on the cable cars and hopefully not get hit by them. We're going to see Coit tower, which i know nothing about. I want to go, but I really really don't want to take 3 hours to fly there. We're probably going to walk pretty much everywhere, which is gonna be bad because its really hilly there. I'm actually probably gonna be the only one who will be fine after walking all over the city... Also, questions in the comments are not going to be answered since I probably won't know either. Lol Yesterday, Chris, Graham, and I went to a member event at MSI. The actual main thing we went for was kind of boring, but there weren't many other people so we could do pretty much whatever we wanted. When you can actually do all the activities, you can learn a lot. We were mostly in the physics/elements area because its the most interesting. Some of the stuff there is really really boring and kind of stupid.
One thing that annoys me is when people try to argue something and then do something like change the subject. People need to know how to argue things correctly. I've written a few points:
1) When arguing, do not change the subject. It is ok to argue multiple points in the same arguement at the same time, but do not chage the subject entirely. 2) This sort of goes with 1, but do not switch to a different argument. Just no. 3) When you are losing, don't do stupid stuff to postpone the loss. 4) If you win, do not brag or whatever about it for a long time. For anyone that doesnt know, Pandora is an app/website that plays music of a certain genre that you pick. Its good because you don't have to spend 100,000 dollars on music.
Its really good, the music is good, it has a lot of variety, but there's one thing that is really annoying. The ads. I'm fine with the fact that they have ads, but the ads they have are the most annoying things in history. They have a rotation of about 6 at any given time. It's 1/3 progressive, 1/3 mcdonalds, 1/3 colleges. They change the ads like every 3 months, so you hear the same ads for months. It would be one thing if the ads were good, but they aren't. They actually make you want to avoid the product because they are SO ANNOYING. It's a marketing failure. Im not sure if anyone else feels this way, but I do. Tell me what you think in the comments. I don't get sick a lot, which is good and bad. Its good because I don't get sick and miss things. Its bad because Ive missed like 3 or so days in 7 and 8th grade.
Well, I'm sick today. I thought it would probably be a good idea to write this now seeing that I didn't yesterday. So this is what I've done today. I got up at like 11, watched youtube videos for an hour, programmed batch files for an hour, got bored of it, watched TV even though nothing was on at 1 in the afternoon, and then wrote this. Very productive. That title is really weird, but it isn't actually random. For Christmas, I got a usb mini fridge that can hold one can of soda. It was awesome, but then I realized that I didn't want to be limited to only having it by my computer or phone charger. So, being me, I decided to try to mod it to run on a 9 volt battery. When I took the cooling part out, I snapped 2 different pieces of plastic necessary to hold the cooling mechanism inside the rest of the case. After duct taping that, I tried to wire a few things to get it to work with batteries. It took me about 2 minutes, and then I had one last wire to connect. This one wanted to be incredibly annoying, so it took me about 10 minutes to actually connect it. But now, I have a battery powered fridge
So today we had our confirmation interviews. The person who was interviewing me decided that it was completely necessary to ask me every single question that she had. The interviews were suppose to be 5-10 minutes, but no, she had to make it something like 20 minutes. My sister was interviewed at the same time, and she was out in literally 2 minutes.
My dad said that I should ask the question: "If god is all powerful, then can he create a rock that is so heavy that he can't even lift it?" (By the way, Dave, we have to ask our ccd teacher that and see what stupid response we get.) Other than that, What a waste of time. I didn't learn anything. I didn't rethink my whole life, which they seemed to think everyone would. There was at least an hour and a half of time they could have cut out of the whole thing, which would have meant wasting only 7 hours of my life instead of 8.5. People stood there talking to no one probably 3 times totaling about an hour and a half. I would have much rather just gone to school.....
I have a problem with learning things. I want to learn more about things like computers and physics and chemistry and stuff like that, but I can't. All the books at the school library are too basic. All the books at the PRPL that have new information in them are too hard for me to read. I would read things on the internet, but its all missing information or just flat out wrong. I guess I just need to read a dictionary or something.
