I copy-pasted it into the comments of your post -Maura
Last weekend I went to my uncle's wedding. Well he's more like my half-uncle, he's my mom's half brother. Anyway it was really fun. My mom, my uncle, Laina and my cousins were all in the wedding. My mom was a bridesmaid and my uncle was a groomsman. Me, Laina, Danielle, Michelle and John (my cousins) all read at the ceremony. We all had such a great night, taking pictures, dancing and going in the photo booth. The best part about the photo booth was you don't just take pictures at the end you can leave a video message. With my cousins we pretended we were on a roller coaster. My youngest cousin Mark was the ring bearer and everyone in the wedding party was obsessed with him. Mark is really smart for a seven year old and he says the funniest things not knowing they will make people laugh. He told the best man, who he had only known for a couple of hours, that he looked like one of the Three Stooges. He was talking to two other groomsman about his 'girlfriend', and he wore fake mustaches with another. What made everyone love Mark, whether they had met him or not was his dancing. He danced with everyone to every song…for two hours, then he took a nap. The wedding was amazing, all the decorations were purple, my favorite color, and all the tables were numbered with Chicago athletes from the Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks and Cubs. My family sat at the Jonathan Toews table. We were right by the table for the wedding party so we had front row seats to all the speeches that made everyone cry, including my uncle whom I had never seen cry ever. It didn't last long though because Thriller came on and he knows the whole dance, so in five minutes he was on the dance floor. To top the night of I had a once in a lifetime experience, I saw a man in a kilt do the Cupid Shuffle. |
