I hate cumulative exams. End of discussion. I have a problem, where I study everything I'm told to, but that doesn't seem to cover whats on the test. That paired with the fact that, no matter how much studying I've done, I always panic at the start of the test and forget everything. I also make stupid mistakes and forget negative signs... Sigh. Anyway, the latest version of this horrible condition happened on Friday with the math test. I had done 96 problems for study, which I thought was a good number, but I just couldn't get around that mental block at the start of the test. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem, and if you do, Please tell me how to fix it, because its horrible.
Well, last week I posted something on the speed of my internet. Well, I was in luck, as recently my dad decided to cancel cable and get dish. Now to some of you, this may seem bad. For me, it isn't really. Instead of watching stuff live, which I rarely have the chance to do, I will instead use Netflix which has Dr.Who, and Mythbusters, basically all I will ever want. It will also save us somewhere near 60 bucks a month, and It also forces my parents to get a faster internet speed. DOUBLE BONUS FOR ME!
My internet is, well, not the greatest, shall we say. It's not like its a surprise, I've known it all along, but that doesn't change how annoying it is! Today, I though, "how slow is my internet?" Well I looked around, and I found a safe site that measures your ping and your upload/download speeds. (link below) I got 24ms (milliseconds) for my ping which isn't bad, but what hurt, was that I got 2.39 Mbps (megabytes per second) as my download rate. The average person gets 5-10. Well at least I have data! (now I just have to convince my parents to get off DSL.
