This Post is a bit late but anyway... On the 8th we went to the Mythbusters exibit at the Museum of Science and Industry. The day started with us going to pick up our cousins (the tickets were a birthday gift and they wanted to come too) and then we went out to breakfast at the Fresh Start Cafe. I had a waffle and it was pretty good But i wanted to get to the exhibit as fast as possible (I'm a little impatient...). When we got there we realized we had 2 hours before our time to enter the exhibit so we went and explored the Science Storms room until our designated time. At 1:00 we entered and explored they had the remains of the water heater from Water Heater Rocket and the phone books from Phone Book Friction. they also had a Driving Blind simulator which was tons of fun and I wish i could have spent more time there. The only reason we didn't stay longer was because everyone was a little tired. Even though we left early it was a great experience.
Ahhh... It's summer and 4th of July just came and went. My family did as we have the past couple of years and went to Franklin's house for a party before the fireworks on the third. Of course we also had to go back afterwords and blow of our own for a while! Even so this year was again successful in of the fact that we had no injures except one, on a sparkler of all things. Right after we shot some double ring missiles (My dad is great with trajectory and angles and almost hit the school...) a car pulled up a little down the street and kept its lights on. We decided it might be a good idea if we called it a wrap for the day and all went home. The next day was The 4th of July and we celebrated by visiting one of my sister's friend's house. it was slightly boring but they had an awesome piano in the basement and it was programmed with quite a few instruments. I spent almost an hour trying to get it to work and then spent another 1/2 hour playing it... Go figure. Anyway that is how I spent my 4th of July.
