I know that I talk a lot about music, but I really don't think any of you truly understand what music means to me. So I am going to talk about it some more just to get it through your tiny heads. Or big heads. I don't really know how big your heads are... Anywho music is probably my best friend. When no one understands me, music does. There is always that song that fits your situation perfectly, which makes me feel a whole lot better about myself knowing that someone has been through the same thing. So there's that, and the fact that it won't ever leave you. It won't say it will be there for you forever and always, to infinity and beyond, and then ditch you for something that WASN'T EVEN YOUR FAULT AND THEN PURPOSELY GO BECOME FRIENDS WITH SOMEONE YOU DON'T LIKE TO MAKE YOU MAD. Yeah. Music doesn't do that. But some music does different things for me than other music. Well known and up-beat pop gets me in a very singy and dancy mood, which is good. Country just makes me genuinely very happy, and reminds me a lot of summer, which is SO CLOSE RIGHT NOW I CAN ALMOST TASTE IT. And finally, there is that artist that only you know about who writes really good music that actually makes sense and not that stupid pop stuff that is on the radio 24/7 that sound like a bunch of ten year olds came up with the lyrics. My personal favorite artist that no one knows about is Imogene Heap. She is amazing. Her lyrics are so deep and the melodys and harmonies she comes up with are insane. Her music goes into your soul and makes you feel bad about yourself that you can't write something like that. It just speaks to me... Gives me this feeling that makes me happier than anything else could. And I have no idea why. Harry Potter does the same thing... It is a mystery.
Summer. Summer. Summer. That is literally the only word in my head nowadays. I could literally NOT come fast enough, because boy do I need a break. The end of the year brings something out in teenage girls, and they get all riled up and start a bunch of un-needed drama and it is just very frustrating and distracting. And ugh. School. It's still going. Just... going. Not well, but not terribly. Just going. But of course we have a lot of homework, and studying, and tests, and all that good stuff PLUS I have to find shoes for promotion. IT'S ALL JUST SO HARD. I honestly don't understand how the adults in our lives think we can do this. But I am kind of a fighter I guess so I won't give up yet. Only two more weeks of math class. I can do this. Math is the death of me, so if I can make it through the year without having a total and complete mental breakdown because of it, I may be able to get myself together for the next like ten years of my life that I will have to take math.
You hae no idea how hard it is to get myself up in the mornings these days... it's like trying to push a boulder up a hill... IT DOESN'T WORK. And then I have to put on clothes and make up and blah blah blah it's all really boring and omg you have no idea how tired I am I just got back from Washington DC for my step Grandmother's memorial service which was actually very lovely and it is beautiiful there and they always have good food so it was actually a very enriching experience okay goodnight people.
^There is a title there and it says TEXTING IS SO BORING OMG.
I have gotten to the point in my life where every text conversation is the same and there is really no point anymore. They all pretty much go like this:
Me: What's up?!
Peasant: NM HBU
Me: Just Texting, Bored...
Peasant: K gtg ttyl bye.
Like WOW was that a waste of my time or what. The art of conversation starting and keeping a conversation alive have gone extinct. There is one in ten people who I can actually have an entertaining conversation with over text. PLEASE PEOPLE AT LEAST TRY. That's one thing that also bugs me. People don't even try. They don't even try to try. It's terrible. For example, when I ask someone what they are doing and they same nothing. It is VERY hard for you to do LITERALLY NOTHING. Even if you are watching tv, we could make a conversation out of that. We could talk about what you are watching. That could be more fun that saying nothing interesting at all. Just remember that before you tell someone that you aren't doing anything. Remember that. If you have any other problems with texting leave them in the comments por favor. Adios.
Hiya. So, I don't have the biggest house in the world, and it's really far away from everything but DQ, and my basement isn't super fun or really finished, and there isn't much to do inside my house, so my parents always question why I don't have people over.... Hmmm wonder why. Also, I usually don't bring people over because my parents are really embarrassing... Shhhh don't tell them. Nah, it's okay I tell them all the time. Anyway, my parents are trying to make my house nicer to be around and stuff, so lately we are having a lot of work done. Mostly painting and re-arranging and buying new tables and couches and stuff. The painters just finished painting our basement so it isn't dark and scary anymore! WOOHOO!!!! I think next we are just touching up some painting on the first floor, and then we are doing my room! It's gonna be so cool. I'm so excited. At the moment, it is a sort of dull mint, but more green than mint, and lavender, but they both turned out kind of grey, so I think the colors look really ugly. Today I picked out the color that I want it to be, and it is going to be a sort of Tiffany box blue. If you don't know what that looks like, it is sort of turquoise but more bright and blue. It going to be really cool. I got a patterned black and white comforter to go with it. It really ties the room together. AHHHHHH I can't wait!!! Oh, this weekend I also got my cartilage pierced. It didn't really hurt when I got it, but now it hurts a LOT. But, I think it will be okay after a couple of days. I really like it, which is good because I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but everything went really well. The lady who pierced my ear, Sue, was crazy. I'm going to day she had a total of probably 14 earrings, and she was wearing hoops in 10 of them. She talked a lot and said really creepy things. But, she's pretty good at her job I guess. But if I see her again, I think I'll just turn around and run. Fast.
Frozen yogurt and summer shopping make me so happy like you don't even understand. I am super duper duper excited about the new frozen yogurt place that just opened, Menchies. Froyo is probably my favorite desert-like thing to eat, and I'm always to lazy to haul my cookies over to Yogli Mogli, so the new place uptown basically made my life. It will be so convenient in the summer, but also dangerous because I will probably end up blowing all my money on yogurt and then later be really depressed when I need money, and then when I ask my mom for money she will be all like "No, you don't get any money because you spent all of your own at that stupid place uptown. Oh, and you are grounded because I feel like it." So, yeah. That's pretty much my life. But, speaking of summer, today I went summer shopping. Boy was it fun. Summer clothes are the bomb and I can't wait to not wear pants anymore. Well, I'll still be wearing pants, but not pants.... You know what I mean. Anyway, I got two really cute tank tops, a pair of jean shorts, and a dress for the V-Show/other fancy occasions. I CAN'T WAIT TO WEAR THEM. (And P.S. I'm super nervous about the V-Show like it's crazy I can't even think about it without getting that terrible nervous feeling. Seriously, I have it right now. It sucks.) Anyway, summer clothes just make me extra happy at this time of the year. I think it's because I'm so tired of school and so ready for summer, and anything that reminds me of summer just brings me closer and closer to that happy place. It's the same thing with country music, it just brings me there, ya know? Talking about summer is also one of my favorite things to do lately. I just need summer. I need the late nights, the sun, the warm, no work, just fun. And I need it now. Peace yo.

51. When I am in a bad mood and my parents DON'T talk to me and just LEAVE THE THE HECK ALONE.
I have no idea were it came from, why people do it, or what it's for, but it brings me so much joy. All of the Harlem Shake videos I've seen are hilarious. If you don't know what the Harlem Shake is, which I doubt, but let me try to explain it. You usually do a Harlem Shake with a large group of people. In the beginning, one person stands up and does a lot of umm hip thrusting to certain music, where everyone in the background is acting completely normal, but then once it hits a certain point in the music, it cuts to a scene of everyone in the room dancing like crazy, usually in weird costumes. It is really pointless and really entertaining. So, there is an app that lets you make a Harlem Shake. I was at a party with a lot of girls, so we decided that it would be an appropriate time to make one. We all got some WEIRD costumes, and assumed the position. It was so much fun! We got to dance like CRAZY and it was great because you couldn't really tell who a lot of us were, but not even having the video in the end was the best, but making it was SOOOO fun. I would recommend getting a bunch of your friends togther and making one because it WAS NOT a waste of time.
